Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) in Gizo, Western Province will be providing security at a public forum involving members of the Western Provincial Government and the Western Province Youth Caucus which will be held in Gizo tomorrow (27 September 2019).

Provincial Police Commander Western Province, Chief Superintendent Mathias Lenialu urges young people and members of the public in Gizo to take up the opportunity of the Forum to become individuals who can positively contribute to their communities, help others, and actively participate in solving social issues together.

“I would like to remind the good people of Western Province especially in Gizo to take up the responsibility of being good citizens to step up and take leadership roles collectively in addressing complex issues for the betterment of our future generation. Let us voice our concerns in a respectable and peaceful manner.”

“Let us ensure that this Forum is held in a manner that respects law and order. Your Police will be out there to ensure the meeting goes on smoothly and people express themselves without any fear,” PPC Lenialu emphasises.

He says, “Police will not tolerate anyone who plans to cause trouble during the event. Let us all work together to ensure that the program goes on without any problem.”
