Officers of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) at Tigoa in the Renbel Province are investigating the discovery of the body of a 19-year-old male who believed to have hanged himself in his room at his uncle’s residence on 5 May 2020.

Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) Commissioner Mr Mostyn Mangau says, “The deceased lived with his uncle and his uncle told him that he will be leaving to next village to complete his canoe work and will return the next day (6 may 2021).”

Officers of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) at Tulagi Police Station in the Central Province have arrested a 44-year-old male person for allegedly having sexual intercourse with an elderly mother.

The victim in this case is about 65 to 70 year-old from Vuturua village in small Ngela and the incident occurred on 8 May 2021.

Officers of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) at the Gizo Police Station in the Western Province have arrested a man in his 20s for allegedly causing grievous harm to his uncle at Vavanga village on Kolobangara Island in Western Province on 3 May 2021.

It is alleged that the nephew seriously wounded his uncle with a pocketknife and stabbed the victim once at his backside and pulled out the knife and stabbed the victim again on his right hand while the victim busy cutting his wooden canoe at a coconut plantation in their home village at Vavanga.
