Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) at the Henderson Police Station in Guadalcanal Province have arrested a 30-year-old male suspect in relation to a death incident that occurred at the Island Night Club, East of Honiara on 6 November 2020.
Officers at the Henderson Police Station arrested the suspect after his father handed him to police this morning (15 December 2020).

Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) at the National Traffic Department in Honiara are investigating a traffic incident involving a police officer driving a police marked vehicle.

The police officer allegedly hit a female pedestrian in the White River area in West Honiara on 11 December 2020

It is alleged that the police officer driving a police vehicle was travelling in the easterly direction when he allegedly hit a 17-year-old female pedestrian who was trying to cross the road from the eastern lane to the other side of the White River 01 Bus stop.

Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) National Traffic Department arrested and charged a male driver after his vehicle collided with another vehicle at the Kola Ridge Bus Stop in East Honiara on 13 December 2020.
It is alleged that the male driver was driving a Toyota short boot sprinter car when he collided with another vehicle owned by the Honiara City Council (HCC) in front of the Kola Ridge Bus stop.

Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) at the Henderson Police Station in Guadalcanal Province this morning (14 December 2020) arrested a male suspect in relation to an alleged robbery incident at the Winwin mining company operating in Central Guadalcanal last week.

Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Guadalcanal Province, Chief Superintended Alfred Uiga says, “Police have arrested a 40-year-old male suspect from Malaita Province around 10 am this morning behind Henderson airport following a tip off received by police.”

Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force at Henderson Police Station in Guadalcanal Province are investigating an alleged robbery at the Winwin mining company operating in Central Guadalcanal on 9 December 2020.

It is alleged that seven men entered the Winwin mining company at Turarana in a G-plated white plain Toyota land cruiser. Two of them wore the police sky blue uniform while the other five wore police t- shirts. They also covered their faces with masks. One of the intruders, wearing the police sky blue uniform, also wore a police baseball cap.

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Vessel RSIPV GIZO has been sent to escort two foreign yachts anchored outside Baralau Island at Aola Bay in East Guadalcanal after police received reports from local people of the presence of the two yachts on 1 December 2020.

The patrol boat GIZO left Honiara early this morning (2 December) and will escort both yachts to Honiara.

Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) at the Kirakira Police Station in Makira Ulawa Province have arrested a male person in his twenties for brewing kwaso at Mwanibwagosi Village in East Makira on 27 November 2020.

Provincial Police Commander Superintendent Peter Sitai says, “It is alleged that the suspect from Mwanibwagosi Village during the month of November 2020, had brewed kwaso and sold it to consumers within the area including workers at the Tamana Elite logging camp also in the same area.
