Police investigate alleged drugs found at Kukum from a business couple

Investigators from the National Criminal Investigation Department of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) with Forensic and Information Technology officers conducted a search for suspicious drugs at a premises located in the Kukum area of Central Honiara on 21 April 2019.

Assistant Commissioner (AC) for Crime and Intelligence, Ian Vaevaso says, “The combined team had seized some items suspected that will assist in the police investigation. A man and his wife were interviewed and released as investigation continues,” says AC Vaevaso.

“I appeal to anyone who may have witnessed or have information about suspicious activities of alleged business people operating in the Kukum area and elsewhere in the country to come forward to police.
