Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) at the Tulagi Police Station in Central Province benefited from a two-day Strategic Planning training that was conducted this week.

Acting Provincial Police Commander (PPC) of Central Province, Inspector Hugo Maelasi says, “From 27 -28 May 2019 my officers at Tulagi attended a Strategic Planning training, which was conducted by Sergeant Polycarp Taloania of the RSIPF Strategic Planning Department.”

He explains: “The Training was specifically to educate officers at Tulagi on how to develop work plans, its importance, and how to implement the plan as daily activities.”

“I would like to thank Sergeant Taloania for delivering the Training which will help my officers understand the importance of developing work plans and how the plans could translated into daily activities,” says PPC Maelasi.

Sergeant Taloania says, “The Training is important for officers to develop work plans, implement the plans on a daily basis and making the daily activities achievable. This will help supervisors and the PPC to properly engage officers in the process of appraising the performance of the officers.”
