RSIPF conducts enquiry into sudden death in West Honiara

Officers of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) at the White River Police Station are conducting a general enquiry into the sudden death of an adult male person at Tasahe A in West Honiara on 23 March 2020.

Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Honiara City Chief Superintendent Stanley Riolo says, “Police were called to the place of incident and officers from the Police Forensic Department secured the area and conducted an enquiry at the scene while the St John Ambulance transported the body of the deceased to the National Referral Hospital (NRH).”

“My condolence to the family and relatives of the deceased as they mourn their loss.”

PPC Riolo adds: “Police are conducting an enquiry into the death to establish details and information surrounding this incident before making recommendations on this matter.”

“I call on people in Honiara especially in the Tasahe A area to come forward to police with any information which may relate to the incident,” says PPC Riolo.
