RSIPF farewells local SIPDP advisor

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) today (16 April 2021) farewelled Solomon Islands Police Development Program (SIPDP) local advisor Johnson Honimae after serving four years with the program.

RSIPF Commissioner Mostyn Mangau has acknowledged and greatly appreciate the service rendered by SIPDP advisor Honimae during his four years in the RSIPF. Advisor Honimae was the first and only local advisor employee by the Australian High Commission under the SIPDP program.

“On behalf of ranks and files of the RSIPF I wish to acknowledge the contribution that you have made to the RSIPF organisation more especially with in the RSIPF Media Unit during your time as SIPDP advisor,” said Commissioner Mangau.

Commissioner Mangau says, “Your contribution to capacity development within the RSIPF during your service is highly commended. God blessed you and your family as you will take up your new appointment.”

Advisor Johnson Honimae, in his brief farewell remarks says, “Thank you to the Commissioner and his Executive and SIPDP Executive for this wonderful opportunity over the past four years. Working with the members of the RSIPF has been extremely rewarding experience for me. I am taking up my new job and looking forward to working closely with you for the betterment of our country Solomon Islands.”

SIPDP advisor Honimae was presented with a Certificate of appreciation and an RSIPF plaque during the farewell program.
