Five people seriously wounded after they clash each other in Malaita Province

Five people were seriously injured themselves after they clashed each other relating to a portion of land for Kava farming at Malobo village in west Kwara’ae on 30 June 2021.

Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Malaita Province, Chief Superintendent Stanley Riolo said the tragic incident happened after a father and his son clearing a portion of area for garden Kava, but later another father with his two sons go in and plant Kava inside that garden.

PPC Riolo said the argument has escalated, and the trio attacked the father who first clearing the Kava garden.

His son saw his father fell on the ground, he fought back with other three and this is where they seriously wounded.

Chief Superintendent Riolo said police has responded and currently investigating the wounding incident. Those five people were transported to Kilu’ufi hospital for medical attention. Later, other two people among those five referred to National Referral Hospital.
