The third defendant for simple larceny case and was sentenced for 12 months imprisonment.”

PPC Toaki says, “Other cases resulted in defendants paying fines and being bound over. Other cases were withdrawn while others adjourned for a next court date.”

PPC Toaki says, “I want to warn all my good people from Temotu Province not to take law into your own hands. The laws are there to safeguard individuals, communities and a country as a whole.”

“I want to commend the general public at Manuopo for the respect shown during the court circuit. I would like to thank the touring magistrate, the court clerk and the office of the public solicitor for conducting the Court circuit at Manuopo to ensure justice is delivered to our citizens,” says PPC Toaki.
