RSIPF will provide security during a church program in Renbel Province

As part of the community engagement of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) with its stakeholders, Police officers at the Tigoa Police Station will provide security during a Church program in West Rennel from 12 to 19 October 2021.

Dorcas from each Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Churches around Renbel Province have come together for the program at Teabamagu village.

Supervising Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Renbel Province Staff Sergeant Eddie Peseika says, “Police were invited to attend this program to provide security and to make sure the program went peacefully.”

PPC Peseika says, “During the program there will be church services, displaying of foods and sporting activities. Police will patrol around the venue during the period of the program to make sure no disturbances or crime committed.”

“I call on the good people of Teabamagu and surrounding communities in West Rennel to respect the program and refrain from any criminal activities. Police will arrest any person disturbing the program or involved in any criminal activities during the church programs,” says PPC Peseika.
