RSIPF PPCs and directors begin five days conference in Honiara

Provincial Police Commanders (PPC) and Directors of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) begin their five days conference hosted by the Commissioner of Police at the Rove police headquarters on 25 October 2021.

The purpose of the conference is to bring together PPCs and Directors to review work plans performance and prepare towards policing and providing National Security to other government stakeholders in 2022.

Speaking during the opening of the program, Police Commissioner Mostyn Mangau says, “You are here today for the future of our organization in ensuring that review of the 2021 annual business plans, your work business plans, Solomon Islands Government (SIG) policy priorities and to ensure that the issue we faced today will be mitigated with innovative ideas to develop your work plans that can tackle issues effectively.”

Commissioner Mangau says, “The highlight of the conference will be the evaluation of RSIPF performance in the 2020 annual report against strategic plans and discussions on the performance and implementation framework.”

Mr. Mangau says, “During the conference, PPCs and directors will discuss and review the 2021 Annual business plans (ABP), PPCs and Directors Work Action Plan (WAP) and Solomon Islands Government redirection policy priorities.”

Commissioner Mangau says, “I wish to welcome you all and thank you for taking your valued time out from your busy schedules in your work place commitments to come and attend this very important annual conference meeting.”

“I would like to assure you that I will render my support for this conference on whatever you do throughout this year for the betterment of our beloved country Solomon Islands,” says Commissioner Mangau.
