CHEC properties stolen at KG VI construction site, Police investigate

Officers of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) at Naha Police Station are investigating a break-in incident at China Harbor Engineering Company (CHEC) over the weekend at KG VI area in East of Honiara.

Commissioner of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force Mostyn Mangau says, “It will be alleged that a total of one hundred and fifty nine thousand plus dollars’ worth of building construction items was stolen from CHEC.”
Commissioner says, “The break-in incident must have occurred between 23 and 24 October 2021.”

Mr Mangau says, “Suspects in relation to the break-in incident were still at large and I call on those who might have any information to assist police with investigation. Investigation into the matter is still continuing.”
