The Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) would like to correct an error contained in an article published in relation to the investigation involving a break-in incident last weekend at University of South Pacific (USP) 4th Campus at KG VI area in East of Honiara.

Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Honiara City, Superintendent Jimson Robo says, “The accurate information is that the USP 4th Campus site project is the correct location where the break-in had occurred and it is not the 2023 South Pacific game project as stated earlier.”
PPC Robo says, “The first report was correct except for the error mentioned that the construction was for the 2023 South Pacific Games instead of the USP 4th Campus.”

Superintendent Robo says, “We apologise for that error supplied and it was just a mistake to provide that information since both projects were located at the same area at KG VI which is a new two construction projects built at the same site.”
Mr. Robo says, “We will try not to repeat the error on our line of reporting in the future to mislead our people.”
