RSIPF commends members of the public for good behaviour during the election of Premier
Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) at the Taro Police Station in Choiseul Province commends members of the public for their good behaviour shown during the election of the new Choiseul Provincial Premier on 1 November 2021.
Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Choiseul Province, Superintendent Vincent Eria says, “I would like to thank members of the public for the great behaviour shown until the result of the election of the Premier. This shows people have respect for the democratic process and allow their leaders to make decisions.”
PPC Eria says, “We now have a newly-elected Premier Mr Benjiman Harrison, MPA for Katupika Ward 2 to represent the people of Choiseul Province. I would like to congratulate and salute him on his new leadership role as the Premier of the Choiseul Province.”
Superintendent Eria says, “I on behalf of the RSIPF in Choiseul Province would like to thank the former premier and his executive for his leadership shown to the people of Choiseul Province. RSIPF will continue to work in partnership with the new Premier and his executive for the good of our people and the country.”
