RSIPF today officially welcomed the new Minister of Police, National Security and Correctional Services Hon. Moses Garu with a parade at the Rove Police Headquarters in Honiara.
“Members of the RSIPF congratulate you on your appointment as the new Minister of Police and it’s our privilege to welcome you to the Rove Police headquarters this morning. We look forward to working closely with you during these interesting times for the Force as it progresses into the future after the departure of RAMSI,” says Commissioner of Police, Matthew Varley
The new Minister of Police inspected a parade mounted by members of the RSIPF followed by a brief meeting with the Commissioner of Police, Mr Varley and members of the RSIPF Executive.
Minister Garu will tomorrow be the Guest of Honour at the graduation ceremony for 69 new police recruits in the Mrs Hilda Kari Recruit Course for this year.
