The RSIPF has been made aware of a serious complaint against a police officer in Malaita. It has been alleged that a police officer was drunk in full uniform when he disturbed a family at a village in East Kwaio early this week.
"The RSIPF has been made aware of this serious complain. We are taking the complaint seriously and the matter is currently being investigated by the Provincial Police Commander, Malaita Province and our Professional Standards and Internal Investigations," says Commissioner, Matthew Varley.
