RSIPF officers in Guadalcanal Province in conjunction with the Immigration Department on 22 August raided and confiscated varieties of liquor worth about $34,000.00 from a business premise in the Henderson area, East of Honiara.
A 29-year Bangladesh national has been arrested on allegation of illegal sale of liquor. The Bangladesh national is also alleged to have breached his visa conditions.
It is also being alleged that the location of the business is not the one stated on the business licence.
Police and Immigration Department officials are continuing their investigations into the matter.
