RSIPF investigates traffic accident in Honiara

Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) at the National Traffic Department are investigating a traffic incident involving two vehicles at the Bahai inter-section at the Kukum highway on 29 March 2022.

It is alleged that a white caldina tried to veered from outer lane to inner lane along Kukum Highway, Unfortunately, the said motor vehicle collided onto a hired Rav4 used by Police Close Personnel Protection (CPP) Team resulted in the vehicle collision. Both vehicles were damaged at the scene.

Supervising Director of the National Traffic Department Inspector Hugo Maelasi says, “Both vehicles were transported to China Town Traffic Station for further dealings as file has been opened and investigation is underway into the incident.”
