Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) will be conducting security and traffic operations for the two high level visiting delegations from Australia and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 17 June 2022.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Operations, Ms Juanita Matanga said as we all know that the Australian Foreign Affairs Minister and the Minister of Tourism for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be here in the country for a day visit. It is good for us to respect and show courtesy to our visiting delegations.

DC Matanga said I just want to advise good citizens to respect our Very Important People (VIP) that are going to visit us tomorrow.

You will see police visibility in some of the strategic locations in town to provide security to our VIPs.

Ms Matanga said traffic officers will be on the road to do some traffic checks and control the traffic during the visit. Kindly ask you road users to comply with traffic officers during this visit. We work together during this very important visit to give a good reputation to our country.
