Auki Community Policing Team conducts awareness talk at Gwaisusuru community in Central Kwara’ae Malaita Province

Auki Community Policing Team of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force in Malaita Province have conducted an awareness talk program at Gwaisusuru community in Central Kwara’ ae on Sunday 27 November 2022.

Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Malaita Province, Superintendent Leslie Kili said, the awareness talk was based on a series of safe Christmas messages which includes, Alcohol free festive season, Crime free festive season, Drug issue and Domestic Violence.

PPC Kili says as requested by the community leaders, the community policing team will work closely with them to set up the Crime Prevention Committee (CPC) and their by-laws I and hope to launch it before Christmas.

Superintendent Kili acknowledges the Gwaisusuru community and their leaders in recognising that police is their friend and assured that RSIPF will continue supporting communities around Malaita and especially, Gwaisusuru community.
