RSIPF complete investigation training conducted by CPLT in Honiara
Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) at the National Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) have completed a four days advanced crime investigation seminar conducted by China Police Liaison Team (CPLT) at Rove Police Headquarters in Honiara last week.
Assistant Commissioner (AC) Crime and intelligence Patricia Leta says, “I want to acknowledged the CPLT for the continues support to RSIPF. This training has to be taken seriously and officers must work hard to update their professional knowledge in criminal investigation and forensic science and technology.”
AC Leta reaffirms the significant of the advanced investigation training to the 10 participant during the opening ceremony.
Commissioner Zhang of CPLT says, “The content of this seminar focused mainly on forensic science and technology, homicide scene investigation, policing-terrorism, cybercrime prevention and major event security.”
“This seminar is a good opportunity to exchange experiences in crime investigation and policing between RSIPF and Chinese police,” says Commissioner Zhang
Deputy Director of NCID Inspector Leslie Simao says, “The topics and subjects in the seminar are closely relevant to the actual circumstances of criminal investigation, which provides an important experiences and knowledge to RSIPF officers.
