RSIPF complete PG 2023 security planning training conducted by CPLT in Honiara
Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) Pacific Game 2023 Security Planning Team have completed a PG 2023 Security Planning Workshop conducted by China Police Liaison Team (CPLT) at Rove Police Headquarters in Honiara last week.
The Workshop was also attended by other security partners of the RSIPF.
Lead Planner of the Pacific Game Security Planning Team Superintendent Fred SUHARA says, “I appreciate the training offered by the CPLT with Beijing Summer and Winter Olympics experiences. This workshop is in line with the current planning process and supports planning to the next phase.”
Superintendent Suhara says, “The RSIPF PG23 Planning team, including RSIPF Security partners are working together contributing towards the development of a comprehensive PG23 Security Plan.”
Associate Professor and PhD JIA Zhanyun of CPLT says, "This workshop is a good chance for related sides to exchange experiences and ideas and better connected for the cooperation next step to ensure a safe PG 2023.”
Deputy Team Leader Mr. JI Yong of CPLT says, “The content of this workshop focused mainly on Beijing Olympics experiences, briefing of the RSIPF PG 2023 security planning and security risk analysis where security partners of RSIPF shared ideas and experiences in preparation towards the major event (Pacific Games) which soon to be hosted in the Country later this year.”
