RSIPF commends public for good behaviour during High Dignitaries’ visits in Honiara
The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) has highly commended members of the public for the good behaviour during the high dignitaries visit to Honiara (Solomon Islands) a few days ago.
RSIPF Commissioner Mostyn Mangau says, “RSIPF is very pleased with the behaviour of the citizen since the arrival of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan His Excellency Mr Hayashi Yoshimasa on 19 March followed by the visit of National Security Council Coordinator for the Indo-Pacific Dr Kurt Campbell with other hierarchy officials of USA on 20 March 2023.”
“Our public must be congratulated as this shows to other countries as well as the pacific island countries that citizens of Solomon Islands are law abiding citizens and are prepared to rebuild the image of our ‘Hapi Isles’. The RSIPF salutes you for this,” said Commissioner Mangau.
Mr Mangau added: “The good behaviour shown towards the visiting dignitaries displayed the peaceful Solomon Islands and its people as we are ready and looking forward to the hosting of Solomon Games here in Capital next week and the big event ahead of us which is the Pacific Game 2023 in November.
“I also want to publicly thank all RSIPF officers who took part in the operations especially the Close Protection personnel (CPP) and the National Traffic Department Team for their tireless effort in ensuring the security is maintained. Job well done officers,” said Commissioner Mangau.
RSIPF calls on all citizens of this country to continue to maintain the good behaviour shown during the visits and help your police to ensure everyone including families are safe.
