The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) has announced the names of its officers who have been confirmed by the United Nations as the next contingent to join the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Darfur, Sudan.
RSIPF has nominated eight officers, but the UN has only confirmed five of them.
The five RSIPF Officers are:
• Tex Tafoa
• Joseph Poleita
• Gregory Kisina
• Nelson Kalea
• Berry Vona
The first five RSIPF officers who were sent on the same UN Mission returned last month after one year serving in Sudan.
