She said this workshop is very important for the RSIPF Security Planning Team to hear experiences and lessons learnt from counterparts who had organised such major events in the past. What we have learnt in this workshop will assist and enhance the RSIPF progress and its plans according to our local context.

Thugea acknowledges the CPLT support in facilitating this workshop, which provides an opportunity for exchanging of ideas and experiences as RSIPF prepares security-planning arrangements for a safe PG23.

Expert on Major Event Security Mr. GAO Yuan of the CPLT said the content of this workshop focused mainly on ticket and cards management, on-site supervision and application of technology systems involved in the security operation of large-scale events, and sharing experience of the Beijing Summer and Winter Olympics. CPLT is here to support RSIPF for capacity building and work with the RSIPF PG23 security planning team.
