PPC acknowledge stakeholders and officers for support during festive police operation

Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Makira-Ulawa Province Superintendent Peter Sitai thanked stakeholders and his police officers for the well done job during the festive police operation.

PPC Sitai acknowledged them during a feast recently which gathered all families of police officers at Marahu black beach sea front.

Superintendent Sitai said it was an exciting moment as families were given the opportunity to go out from home to enjoy and relax in a new environment.

Sitai thanked all stakeholders for their support in one way or the other. There are times when the police are in desperate situations for help, and you are always there to render most needed assistance.

Mr. Sitai said without you, police work would not be easy to make Makira-Ulawa Province a safer place to live and conduct business in 2023.

“Also sincerely acknowledge the efforts of village leaders to help combat crimes in the villages. You have played a vital role in the community and police are always there to maintain law and order,” said PPC Sitai.

The provincial boss also thanked the house wives and children for supporting their hard working spouses. It is you that makes him or her feel proud and complete in her or his policing duty. Acknowledged the great effort of all police officers who have actively taken part in the operation as without your understanding and team work, police would not be able to easily achieve its mission.

Policing duty is not an easy task since police were mandated by the law to enforce the laws of this country with professionalism. While many will understand and appreciate police duties, many will also do the opposite to disregard the well- done job of the police.

Officers were encouraged to stand tall and do what was required of them as members of the discipline organisation in 2024.
