New Zealand Police SIPSP Team Leader Inspector Warwick McKee farewell RSIPF
New Zealand Police Inspector Warwick McKee has concluded his deployment to the Solomon Islands.
Inspector McKee was the Team Leader for the Solomon Islands Police Support Programme that has been working alongside and supporting the RSIPF.
He was deployed to the Solomons Islands since May 2022 and leaves after two years and eight months.

Inspector Mckee stated that “it has been an absolute privilege to represent New Zealand and work alongside the RSIPF.”
“My wife and I have been lucky enough to live here and embrace the culture and wonderful people of the Hapi Isles. We had countless wonderful experiences with the RSIPF and Solomon Islanders and will leave the Solomon Islands with a heavy heart,” Inspector McKee said.
During the ceremony, he reflected on his time working as the SIPSP team leader and highlighted the refresh of the RSIPF Crime Prevention Strategy, Provincial training delivery across the nine provinces, building sustainable working relationships with the RSIPF and Solomon Islands Community and the legacy that he has left here in the Solomon Islands.
Inspector McKee and his wife Debs return to New Zealand where they will stay briefly before heading to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in April 2025 where he will take up a Police Liaison Officer role.
