As the national parliament is in the process of determining when the no confidence motion will be debated on the floor, the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) wishes to inform the public that today (Friday 13th December) is business as usual.

You may be aware; a no confidence motion against the Prime Minister was lodged to parliament on Thursday 5th December. The motion is expected to be ready for debate today (Friday 13th December).

Whether parliament will debate the motion on today or not, that day should be a normal day.

The RSIPF reminded business houses that they should continue with their normal services.

“The RSIPF wish to assure everyone including business houses that today (Friday) is business as usual,” RSIPF’s Assistant Commissioner, Simpson Pogeava, said.

AC Pogeava said police has developed a plan on how it will overlook the security situation in the city.

He said whether anyone is planning to go to a sporting activity or work or travel home or whatever, they should go on with their normal plans as tomorrow is business as usual.
