The Police Academy of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) was boosted with new office equipment recently.
The academy received a welcome boost in workplace amenities with the delivery of new office equipment with the funding through a Pacific Community Law Enforcement Cooperation (PCLEC) Small Grants Program (SGP).
The upgrade includes two refrigerators and twenty ergonomic office chairs, now in use by Learning and Development staff and trainers at the Academy.
These items are expected to improve daily working conditions and contribute to a more productive and supportive environment for the team responsible for training RSIPF officers.
Supervising Assistant Commissioner (AC) Stanley Riolo expressed his appreciation for the continued collaboration between the RSIPF and AFP Policing Partnership Program (RAPPP), which facilitated the successful grant application.
Supervising Assistant Commissioner Riolo thanked PCLEC for the SGP, which made this upgrade possible.
Mr. Riolo said the new office items represent a practical but meaningful investment in the well-being of those who deliver critical law enforcement training across the country.
