The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) appeals to liquor license holders to operate strictly under their license conditions.

As part of the ongoing Zero Tolerance operations that have been conducted over the recent weekends, police have visited liquor license holders in Honiara.

During these visits, some businesses were found to be in breach of their license conditions, resulting in temporary closure of those establishments.

Operation Commander, Zero Tolerance Operation, Assistant Commissioner (AC) National Capital and Crime Prevention (NCCP), Mr. Simpson Pogeava said that adhering to license conditions is crucial for the safety of our people.

AC Pogeava said that ongoing monitoring and enforcement are necessary to ensure that all license holders operate within the law.

Mr. Pogeava said the community's well-being depends on responsible management and adherence to regulations, and the police will continue to take action against those who violate these conditions.

He encouraged community members to report businesses that breached their license condition to police, as their vigilance plays a vital role in enhancing public safety.

"With the collaboration between law enforcement and communities, we can create a safe and secure place for everyone," said Mr. Pogeava.
