RAPPP shares Christmas joy across communities and Care Centres

Celebrating Christmas together ,RAPPP Advisors Dennis, Sandy, Jenni, and Kevin with children from the Tamone community.

Last week, RAPPP carried out a Christmas outreach across several locations in Honiara, sharing moments of care, kindness, and connection with children, families, and women in need.

The visit included the Children’s Ward at the National Referral Hospital, where RAPPP Advisors, local staff, and an RSIPF Community Policing officer spent time with young patients and their caregivers, offering small gifts and encouragement during the festive season.

RAPPP also visited the Christian Care Centre, engaging with women affected by gender-based violence. As part of the visit, practical gifts were shared with mothers, and activities were prepared for children to create a safe and positive environment filled with joy and laughter.

Community visits were also carried out at Tamone, Burns Creek, and the Motor Pool communities.

During these visits, the RAPPP teams shared Christmas gifts with children, spent time listening to community members, and strengthened relationships through simple but meaningful interactions.

The Christmas outreach reflects RAPPP’s continued commitment to community policing, partnership, and supporting vulnerable members of the community through presence, compassion, and connection, especially during a time of year that holds deep meaning for families and children.
