Police to Conduct Zero-Tolerance Operation in Honiara

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) will commence a high-visibility, zero-tolerance operation in Honiara in the coming days as part of ongoing efforts to maintain peace, safety, and public order.

RSIPF Acting Commissioner Mathias Lenialu encourages all residents to go about their daily activities as normal and to refrain from engaging in any form of criminal activity or unlawful gatherings.

“Police will maintain a strong and visible presence throughout Honiara to ensure the safety and security of all citizens and urge the public to cooperate with your police during this operation,” said Commissioner Lenialu.

Mr. Lenialu emphasizes that any form of criminal activity, disorderly behavior, or unlawful gatherings will not be tolerated.

Members of the public are strongly encouraged to report any suspicious or unlawful gatherings to the nearest police station or to the officers on patrol.

The RSIPF reassures the public that it is fully committed to ensuring the safety of all people in Honiara and guarantees it will take strong action against anyone found breaching the law.
