The Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) provided police high visibility during the High Court ruling of the new coalition and the government today (4 April 2025) in Honiara.
The police's high visibility during the high ruling is to give public a sense of reassurance during the ruling for a peaceful environment.
Your police, the RSIPF, are doing static observation, foot beat patrol, and vehicle patrol around the court area at the town ground area.
The RSIPF encourages all attendees to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to ensure safety for everyone who involved and attended including the general public is maintained.
Police visibility and presence on such important and critical times is to provide reassurance to the general public and people involved of their safety.
The RSIPF has also been conducting patrols to different locations where the Honiara Dart Tournament happened. The tournament has started on 3 April 2025.
The venues of the tournament are yacht club, Chiefs house, ATL, and Canoe Bar at the Pacific Casino Hotel.
The tournament will continue through the Easter weekend, and finals will be on Easter Monday.
This high-visibility police presence is a normal police operation to ensure sure safety and peace is prevailed.
