Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Western Province, Chief Superintendent Mathias Lenialu thanked residents of Gizo Township including surrounding villages for the peaceful Christmas Celebration over the past days.
“I want to thank the church leaders in Gizo, Provincial members, community leaders, Women Representatives, youth groups for your working together with the Police in ensuring everybody enjoys the Christmas celebration,” says PPC Lenialu.
He added, “I also want to thank the members of the public for the good behaviour that leads to no major criminal incidents. That shows that you are celebrating this festive season responsibly.”
Chief Superintendent Lenialu appeals to the good people of Gizo town, nearby villages and all throughout the western province to keep up the good behaviour as New Year is getting close. People are expected to celebrate responsibly.
