The Honiara City Central Police Station has temporarily relocated its enquiry desk to another building behind the Station as renovations are carried out on the current desk.
“The renovation is expected to be carried out within the next two weeks therefore we are relocating our customer service desk at the leaf hut behind the Station, just next to the police barracks,” says Support Manager, Central Police Station, Superintendent Barry Rush Saukiu.
“We moved from the building to another small building close to the leaf hut this afternoon to allow the contractors to carry out the renovation work,” says Superintendent Saukiu.
He adds: “Should you need to report a crime, make enquiries, or need any assistance with other police matters, you are advised to call in at the building close to the leaf hut and our duty officers will assist you. The building is close to the leaf hut and is located behind the Station beside the Police Barrack in the Honiara Central Police Station area.”
“We apologise for the inconvenience that this temporary arrangement may cause to the public but we hope that with the new front desk once completed, our services will improve as we continue to serve our people,” says Support Manager Saukiu.
