Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police (RSIPF) participated in the Woodford International School careers exhibition program on 9 May at the School in East Honiara.
Assistant Commissioner (AC) Mr Simpson Pogeava says, “Officers who took part were from the National Community Policing, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Fire & Rescue Services, Traffic officers, Human Resources and Police Response Team (PRT).
AC Says, “As part of the exhibition program, officers of the RSIPF conducted talks on different topics to the host and participating schools on different services provided by the RSIPF to the communities.”
“Fire and Rescue Services did a demonstration on firefighting as part of the capability in response to a fire incidence,” Mr Pogeava said.
He says, “A lot of questions were asked during the program by students and other people who visited to find out about the different services the RSIPF is providing to the people of Solomon Islands.”
AC Pogeava further adds: “I would like to thank my officers for their efforts and preparation to participate during the Careers Marketing program.”
