The Honiara Central Police Station has resumed normal services following the completion of renovations at the Station.
“The renovation work which started late last year 2017 has now been completed and the Frontline Office at the Station has returned to its usual location at the front desk and the services to the public have returned to normal,” says Provincial Police Commander, Honiara City, Chief Superintendent Alfred Uiga.
PPC Uiga adds: “I want to thank members of the public especially in Honiara for their patience while the renovations were underway. You may have been inconvenienced during the temporary relocation of the Front Office to the leaf hunt near the Police Barracks but now with the completion of the renovations our services to the public have returned to normal.”
“I urge members of the public in Honiara to utilise the services and assistance being provided at the renovated Frontline Office here at the Central Police Station by your police,” says Chief Superintendent Uiga.
PPC Uiga says, “I wish to thank the Ministry of Police, National Security and Correctional Services for funding the Project to improve the services we are expected to provide to the public especially in our capital city.”
