Police at Tulagi in the Central Province have conducted a high visibility patrol during the official opening of a Rural Health Clinic at Vura Village, in Big Ngella on 13 July 2018.
Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Superintendent Patricia Leta says, “More than 600 people attended and witnessed the official ceremony including a provincial government delegation from Tulagi.”
PPC Leta says, “A member of the Vura Rural Health Clinic Organizing Committee Maxson Mumuku highly commended police for their presence as result the program ended peacefully.”
Superintendent Leta says, “The visit is part of the roll out of the Crime Prevention Strategy to engage communities and all stakeholders in preventing crime from happening in our villages.”
“I wish to thank all who attended the ceremony for their good behavior and my hard working officers for their commitment in responding to this request,” says Ms Leta.
She adds: “I would like to thank all the good people of Central Province for your continuous support rendered to police throughout the Province.”
