Police at Taro in Choiseul Province is investigating an alleged indecent act on a 3-year-old female child by of a 40-year-old man at Vurango Village, North West Choiseul recently.
Provincial Police Commander (PPC), Choiseul Province Vincent Eria says, “Police here in Taro received a report alleging that a 40-year-old man had committed an indecent act on a 3-year-old female child. Upon receiving the report police proceeded to investigate the matter.”
PPC Eria says, “For this case it was obvious that the alleged suspect is a person with a disability (cannot walk properly and move his left hand).”
“As police investigate this alleged incident, I want to appeal to all parents and guardians to take care of our children. Do not leave your children alone for a long period of time with anyone that you do not trust. Always check them every now and then to make sure they are safe,” says PPC Eria.
