AC Manelugu says: “I appreciate your good work for this year from January till now. You have shown excellent performance. Despite the challenges we face you still show that you are committed to your duties.”

“I want to encourage you to keep up the good work, keep up the standard and maintain your discipline. Bear in mind that our job is very important to our people and our community. Respect our communities and ourselves,” AC Manelugu emphasises.

He adds: “As we are approaching the end of this year lots of events are coming up and we need to work extra harder to serve our communities.”

Solomon Islands Police Support Program (SIPSP) Team Leader, Mr Mohammed Atiq says,

“I am very impressed on the parade turn out and the way it was conducted. The commitment you have here is very impressive.”

The team, led by AC Manelugu is in Tulagi to discuss the Kwaso Action Plan with officers at the Tulagi Police Station and other stakeholders with the idea of coming up with a provincial kwaso action plan for Central Province. The team will also discuss the key messages that officers should be carrying to communities in preparation for the upcoming operations including the Festive Season and the 2019 National General Election.

The team has done the same in Gizo, Western Province and Auki, Malaita Province over the past two weeks. This program is coordinated by the SIPSP which is funded by New Zealand Police.
