Commissioner of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) Matthew Varley has thanked provincial police commanders (PPCs) and department directors for their contributions to the RSIPF’s Annual Business Plan 2019 (ABP) during the one-week conference held at the Rove Police Headquarters in Honiara 1 – 5 October 2018.
The ABP provides appropriate Strategies to achieve each of the six goals set out in the RSIPF Strategic Directions 2017 – 2020.
The 2019 ABP sets the organisational direction and details the activities required for the RSIPF to deliver he services and outcomes required of it by its stakeholders and the community.
Presenting the outcomes of the Conference’s discussion on the 2019 ABP, the Provincial Police Commander, Makira-Ulawa Province, Peter Sitai thanked the Commissioner and his Executive for allowing the PPCs and Directors to contribute to the ABP.
“We welcome the opportunity to engage in the discussions of the draft 2019 ABP. We have made several recommendations for the consideration of the RSIPF Executive. We hope that the Executive will consider our recommendations which we believe will assist the overall implementation of the ABP,” says PPC Sitai.
