Police at Taro in Choiseul Province is investigating an alleged grievous harm incident which happened at Vangavanga Village in the Vagara area of North West Choiseul 23 October 2018.
Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Choiseul Province, Superintendent Vincent Eria says, “My officers are working closely with the victim and investigation into this matter is continuing.”
PPC Eria says, “It is alleged that the victim was attacked by two suspects with a piece of timber resulting in the victim’s left shoulder dislocated. The victim was admitted at Taro Hospital and yesterday (28 October 2018) he was referred to the National Referral Hospital (NRH) for further medical attention.”
Superintendent Eria says, “While the matter is still under investigation I appeal to both parties involved in this incident to refrain from taking the law into their own hands.”
