The Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Western Province, Chief Superintendent Mathias Lenialu thanked residents of Noro and Munda Townships as well as surrounding villages for the peaceful 35th Anniversary celebrations of the Province’s Second Appointed Day last week.

“I want to thank all the community leaders including church leaders in Noro and Munda women representatives, youth groups and members of the Western Provincial Government for working together with the Police in ensuring everyone enjoyed the celebrations,” says PPC Lenialu.

He adds

“I also want to thank the members of the public for their good behaviour resulting in no major incidents during the celebrations. This showed that you celebrated in a responsible manner.”

“I appeal to the good people of Noro and Munda and nearby villages and every one throughout the Western province to keep up the good behaviour as we enter the Festive Season and into the New Year. Please celebrate responsibly,” says Chief Superintendent Lenialu
