PPC Choiseul Province call for peaceful Christmas celebration

Provincial Police Commander, Choiseul Province call on good people of Choiseul Province to celebrate responsibly during this festive season.

Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Choiseul Province, Superintendent Vincent Eria says, “As Choiseul Province go towards Christmas and New Year 2019 celebration I call for a Crime – Free in our communities on behalf of the Commissioner of Police.”

PPC Eria says, “I want to call on the people of Choiseul to exercise their democratic rights in a peaceful and respectful manner. Respect each other is paramount. I further call on all alcohol liquor licenses to operate accordingly to the Liquor Act. It is reported that alcohol is one of the contributing factor causing disharmony in our communities.

Mr Eria says, “I would like to emphasize to support the functions of chiefs, community leaders, church leaders, Crime Prevention Committees (CPC’s), women leaders, youths and children leaders to work together with your local Police post at Taro in Choiseul Province.”

He says, “RSIPF will mount an Operation to support the communities to ensure this festivity is an enjoyable one.”

“I urged you all to continue to work together as you have demonstrated in the past months to make this Province a better place for us to live in. I salute you for that and let us allow the families to demonstrate a spiritual celebration with their children to enjoy the memory of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ in our lives,” says PPC Eria.
