Police in Western Province remind vehicle drivers and Out Boat Motor (OBM) when driving along the road and travelling on the water to take extra care during the current bad weather affecting the Province.

Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Western Province, Chief Superintendent Lenialu says, “Police like to remind public that speeding must be discouraged when driving along the road and OBM drivers must watch out during bad weather.”

PPC Lenialu says, “OBM drivers must ensure they have marine equipment before travelling to other islands. Look after yourself from bad weather and for those of you travel by sea being advice to report where you going before travelling to your intended destination.”

Mr Lenialu says, “It is good and important that drivers must always make good decision and put safety first as your priority before travelling to other islands and on the road.”
